Downtown & Pearl Street
Brick storefronts with flues that predate the university, lofts above restaurants, and rooftop terminations that have not been scoped in a generation. Our shop sits here, so downtown calls rarely wait long.
Mapleton Hill
Victorian masonry laid with soft lime mortar that modern cement repairs quietly destroy. We repoint these chimneys with mortar matched to the era, so the brick keeps sacrificing the joint and not itself.
Whittier
One of the oldest street grids in the city, full of century brick and unlined flues. A camera inspection here almost always earns its keep.
Goss-Grove
Cottages and small Victorians near the creek path, many with fireplaces that have outlived several owners. Gentle restorations are the usual work here.
University Hill
Grand old houses carved into rentals, with fireplaces of uncertain recent history. We do a brisk trade in between-tenant safety checks and damper repairs.
Chautauqua
The cottages and homes below the Flatirons take the west wind first. Caps and crowns up here get chosen for the gusts, not the catalog page.
Newlands
Bungalows with mid-century additions, which often means two eras of chimney sharing one roof. We sort out which half is drafting and which is decorative.
North Boulder
Newer construction, studio conversions and the art district. More gas inserts than open hearths, and venting checks matter more than brushes.
Wonderland Hill
Custom builds from the seventies with tall prow chimneys that catch every gust coming off the ridge. Draft diagnosis is the specialty of the house here.
Table Mesa
Ranch homes from the sixties under the mesa winds. Original fireboxes and long low flues that benefit from a liner sized to how they actually breathe.
Martin Acres
The fifties ranches here often still run their original fireboxes. Firebrick replacement and honest sweep-and-inspect visits are the steady work.
Frasier Meadows
Quiet sixties streets east of the foothills, where a chimney mostly needs steady maintenance and someone who shows up when booked.
